​Hannah Hackney is a poet, visual artist and chemist. Her writing has appeared places like The Malahat Review, Arc, The Raintown Review, CV2 and Lemon Hound. Her illustrations have also been commissioned for business cards, cover art, and tattoo design. She is currently taking time off work as a research assistant, journalist and technical writer to pursue a Master's in Chemistry from University of Alberta in Edmonton, specializing in aromatic systems and organic materials.
